2. Hosting & server logs

The site is hosted on a server in Germany. On access, technically necessary data is recorded in server log files (IP address, date/time, page requested, data volume, browser, operating system) solely for operation, security and stability. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention: typically max. 7 days.

3. Content delivery / Cloudflare & cookies

For delivery and protection we use Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) as reverse proxy/CDN. Connection data (incl. IP) is processed, possibly with transfer to the USA. Data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, supplemented by EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Only technically necessary cookies are used (e.g. a Cloudflare security cookie such as __cf_bm); no consent is required for these under § 25(2) TDDDG. No tracking, marketing or analytics cookies are used, so no consent banner is required.

4. Newsletter

When you subscribe, we process your e-mail address, consent, and the time and IP address of sign-up, using a double opt-in procedure (confirmation e-mail; inclusion only after the link is clicked). You can unsubscribe at any time. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; as participation in a political newsletter may reveal a political opinion, additionally Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR (explicit consent).

5. Membership / support

If you apply for membership/support, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact e-mail, optional desired address, consent) to handle the application and — if chosen — to set up a mailbox. Political membership concerns special categories of personal data; the legal basis is your explicit consent under Art. 9(2)(a) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(a)/(b) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect.

6. Recipients / processing

Newsletter and application data are processed via our technical interface api-fdz.zessaria.com (operated by the controller above) and our e-mail/mail server. No disclosure to third parties for advertising purposes takes place.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to withdraw consent at any time.
