This website is served from our own server behind Cloudflare as a reverse proxy. On access, technically necessary data (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) is processed to ensure delivery and security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; legitimate interest in secure, stable operation). Server logs are generally deleted within 7 days unless needed to address a concrete attack.
To deliver and secure the website (reverse proxy, TLS encryption, DDoS and bot protection), Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA acts as a processor. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. Connection data (in particular IP address, requested URL, date/time, and browser/device information) is processed and may be transferred to the USA.
Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) serve as appropriate safeguards for the transfer (Art. 44 et seq. GDPR). Despite these safeguards, access by US authorities cannot be fully ruled out. For more information, see Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
If you submit your email address, we process it to send information about the movement (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, consent). Sign-up uses double opt-in: you receive a confirmation email and are only added after clicking the link. We store your email address, the time, and — for abuse prevention — your IP address. You may withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link; the data is then deleted.
When you register as a member we process your name, desired mailbox address, a contact email (for confirmation) and your chosen password. Because membership in a political movement allows conclusions about your political opinion, this is a special category of personal data, processed solely on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) together with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given separately in the form. Double opt-in applies: the mailbox is created only after you confirm the contact address. Mailbox contents are stored on our server to provide the email service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You may withdraw consent and request deletion of account, mailbox and related data at any time.
The information pages set no tracking or marketing cookies. The member webmail sets a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you logged in (§ 25(2) TTDSG — no consent required).
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR); this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
Providing your data is neither legally nor contractually required; however, without the details needed for the newsletter or membership, those services cannot be provided.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the State Commissioner for Data Protection Brandenburg (LDA Brandenburg), Stahnsdorfer Damm 77, 14532 Kleinmachnow, Germany.
